NEW SHOWS
We are happy to announce two new shows:
Swedish cult band Dungen (SWE) will hit Finland for the first time since 2005. This time the band will play at Tavastia on February 21st with Plain Ride and Octupus Syng Alive. Pre-sale starts at Tiketti next Monday.
Fullsteam & Nem-booking present hip hop act Delinquent Habits (USA) at Kuudes Linja on January 6th. Tickets are now available at Tiketti.

COSMO VITELLI (FRA)
French electro artist/dj Cosmo Vitelli (I'm a Cliche Records) will hit Club Laserdans at Redrum on December 17th. Vitelli is also a member of electro duo Bot'Ox and has remixed bands like Simian Mobile Disco and Daft Punk.

DIVISION OF LAURA LEE (SWE)
Swedish garage/alternative band Division of Laura Lee will play a mini tour in Finland with Damn Seagulls in January 2009. Check also new Damn Seagulls tune The City Takes Care of It here.

BEST INDIE LABEL 2008
Fullsteam Records has again been voted as the "independent label of the year" (by Finland´s biggest music trade fair Musiikki & Media). This was our fifth victory in row, thank you for support!
In addition Fullsteam's Juha Kyyrö won the "talent scout of the year" award.

SÉBASTIEN TELLIER (FRA)
French electropop star Sébastien Tellier will return to Finland after succesful show at Flow Festival. This time the artist will hit Tavastia on February 5th. Tickets 20€, pre-sale starts on Monday October 13th at Tiketti.

Dreampop band Beach House is going to play with another american artist Jana Hunter at Tavastia on Novermber 30th.
Ska punk act Reel Big Fish will hit Finland for the second time on March 9th at Nosturi.

DAMN SEAGULLS IN STUDIO
Damn Seagulls are currently recording their third full-length due in February 2009 in Studio Mankku, Porvoo and Hästholmen, Helsinki. Mixed by Jussi Jaakonaho who has previously worked with 22-Pistepirkko, the album will be both recorded and produced by the band except for the vocals that will be produced by Miikka Koivisto from Disco Ensemble.
The first single from the yet untitled record will be released later this month. Damn Seagulls will perform at Popkomm next week and you can also watch the band's video blog on their Myspace to get a sneak preview of their new material.

LA RIOTS (USA)
Electro duo LA Riots is going to play a dj-set at Club Misf*ts on Nov 13th at Redrum. The band is one of the most respected remix artists and have worked with Justice, Hot Chip, Crystal Castles and LCD Soundsystem among several others. Tickets 8€ (including free drink), pre-sale at Tiketti.

DISCO ENSEMBLE NEWS
Disco Ensemble's break through album First Aid Kit has gone gold in Finland. Released in 2005, the album reached the gold record limit in the end of August. Disco Ensemble received their gold records at sold out show at Virgin Oil Co. last Friday. The gold record celebrations were the first of their kind for both the band and Fullsteam Records.
The third, mid-priced edition of First Aid Kit has just recently hit the stores, as the previous two are sold out. The new version of Disco Ensemble's gold selling sophomore album includes all the tracks from both the 2005 and 2006 editions.
